Welcome to the Open edX 2022 Conference, hosted by Nova SBE and FCT | FCCN! This year’s theme is all about shaping the future of education together, and tackling challenges around expanding access to education globally, the future of work, up-skilling, re-skilling, and life-long learning.
As long as I can remember I've believed in the power of inclusive learning. With over 30 years in technology and publishing, I've also served many years as School Council Chair in an Ontario board, and got to know a little about the challenges facing educators today. That's why I felt compelled to join ReadSpeaker, a world-leader in voice technologies for learning and inclusion, over 8 years ago in 2014. Today our integrations with LMS platforms like D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Canvas and Blackboard are in use in K-12, higher education and adult learning from coast to coast in Canada. It's a true Universal Design for Learning approach coupled with individual literacy support toolsets where desired as well. Let's talk!
