Improving Open edX Maintenance: Automation and Crowdsourcing
Given that the Open edX project consists of 100+ software repositories and hundreds of dependencies on externally maintained open source projects, the potential for bugs, security vulnerabilities, and upgrade issues is high. To reduce the level of effort and more efficiently stay on top of these items, we're taking steps to automate the process and distribute maintenance efforts across more people willing and able to contribute.
